The Office of the Chief Privacy Officer at the Office of the National Coordinator recently released a "Guide to Privacy and Security of Health Information" to help health care providers integrate privacy and security into their practices. 

The Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (NPRM) for Stage 2 meaningful use was posted to the Federal Register Thursday, Feb. 23rd.  The proposed rule outlines the next stage of meaningful use for the Electronic Health Record (EHR) Incentive Programs, which are administered by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).
